Life's short, have fun today!
About your guide:
I re-discovered my love of skiing at Winter Park almost ten years ago and it wasn't long before I'd rearranged my life to spend all winter on this mountain. I started training with the Competition Center's Freestyle Masters, found a condo and for the past seven years have split my time between San Francisco and Winter Park, skiing 100+ days a season. Life is good!
Variety is one of Winter Park's biggest draws! There's always fun to be had depending on the weather, snow conditions and day's energy. I love longer, meandering ways down the mountain, accessing two, three or more runs; incorporating favorite sections of trees, bumps, groomers and trails. Taking time to appreciate and feel gratitude for being on the mountain is always a priority.
Why ski with Kathy:
Did you know you can skip the lift lines when skiing Winter Park Guides!?
And you can start skiing as early as 8am, before the lifts are open to the public!
In just a few hours, I can give you a great overview of the mountain or an insider's introduction to our bumps, trees or cruisers. Tell me what you're interested in or let me decide based on the conditions.
Let's make the most of your time at Winter Park!
Kathy was great! We were looking for a way to get quickly aquainted with the mountain and see some areas we might have not been adventurous enough to find on our own and that's exactly what she put together for us. Getting to head of the line on a very busy Saturday was a great bonus! We would definitely book Kathy again when we visit Winter Park.February 24, 2019
Kathy was an amazing guide!! She was very helpful prior to the trip and sent maps and suggestions on places to park. This was my first time coming to Winter Park and I was by myself. Her guidance to help get me there was much appreciated. She was very interested in what I wanted to get out of my time with her. She helped encourage me to try different things I had never done before. I don't ski with people back home that do bumps, trees, half-pipes but I had a blast doing these things with Kathy. She even got my down my first Black Diamond! She always had great suggestions for trails and even helped layout the rest of my afternoon while I would be on my own. I would definitely recommend Kathy to anyone coming to Winter Park for the first time! She was a great guide!February 19, 2019
Kathy was THE BEST!! I can’t even leave a review to justify the fun we had and the experiences we never would have had without her. She pushed us as she saw fit and we couldn’t thank her enough. If you are on the fence about a guide- do it! We were only at Winter Park for a short time and wanted to have a great experience, thanks to Kathy that happened!February 18, 2019
My 8-year old daughter and I spent the morning on the mountain with Kathy. I would describe our ski level as advanced beginners. Kathy was very responsive prior to our trip and was aware of our goals for the day. She helped us get our legs under us with some easy green runs and then showed us other areas of the mountain as our time progressed. Kathy was particularly great with my daughter and even showed her some fun tree runs and introduced one of the terrain parks. Kathy was also helpful in suggesting eating locations on and off the mountain. During a snack break, she had granola bars for us as an added perk. Would certainly recommend Kathy if you're new to Winter Park or just looking to find new, less explored areas of the mountain.January 21, 2019
