If life's a bowl of cherries you gotta have the "Pittz"
About your guide:
A native to Golden Colorado, I grew up a long 70 Miles away from Winter Park. My youth consisted of a strenuous and distracted countdown to the weekend, in which I quickly rose through the Racing and All Terrain Programs. During my many years in the programs I committed to memorizing Winter Park’s seven territories and the individual traits that make them each unique. In the years since, my exploration of the mountain has continued while I worked, briefly for Winter Park Ski Patrol (2 years) then the Race Crew (6 Years). My love for the mountain and the community that surrounds it lead me to move to Winter Park 3 years ago so I could pursue my love for skiing full time. During Spring I travel internationally, most recently to Nepal. In the summer, I guide rafts on the Colorado and Clear Creek Rivers. I spend the Fall in West VIrginia guiding boats down the Gauley River.
For over 21 years I have dedicated my ski career to finding the best stashes on the mountain. You want to ski the steeps? I’ll point you in the right direction. Best bump runs? No problem. You want to ski trees? I got you. Powder? Just follow me, friend. You want to take it easy and ski the groomers? I am all about it. Whatever your style of skiing may be, I’m happy to accommodate.
Why ski with Keegan:
Winter Park has been my life for the past 20 years. Let’s see what it can do for you.
This was our second time booking a guided experience with Keegan. Keegan makes every visit to Winter Park special. Although my friend and I are both very experienced skiers, we wanted someone to show us the best places on the mountain and in particular on a powder day like it was the day we skied together. Cutting the lift lines was a gamechanger as we were able to get in a ton of skiing during our 4 hour session. Keegan did a great job of pinpointing ideal runs and especially amazing lines in some of the best trees we've ever skied. He even took some time to get really good footage of some fun little cliffs we went off of. He also has tons of great stories about Winter Park and had a great lunch recommendation which we took him up on. We'll definitely be making sure to book Keegan again the next time we ski Winter Park!March 03, 2019
